I like this post. Just like your other posts it kind of shows what kind of cool life you have. Still I must say that it’s not always that easy to start the life you want to have. You’re probably thinking I’m right and that obstacles are natural but can you tell me something more about the obstacles you had in lets say becoming a pick-up artist or travelling the world? Cause I kind of have the idea that you grew up in a lucky social and financial environment. I don’t know if it’s true maybe you can tell me something more about it.

Secondly I would like to respond on M’s comment above this one. I disagree by saying that America is excellent. Health insurance sucks balls and poverty still exists while your government is spending big piles of money on space science and wars. I don’t want to sound chauvinistic because I come from a small country in Europe named Belgium that has like nothing to be proud of. We are good in nothing. But please be careful with confirming the stereotype of the patriotic American that has no self-criticism.

to name a few;

1. Google (when was the last time you used Ask? of course why WOULD you…it doesnt work as well. Ask doesnt have MAPS, and EMAIL, and a global mapping program, and news, and a free CAD design program that works BETTER than others that cost hundreds of dollars, and how many countless other projects that started as employees of google’s SIDE projects and became INNOVATIVE and SURPASSING QUALITY features?

2. Apple (can any other mp3 player possibly compete?)

3. Japanese car brands (Subaru, Toyota) (Ford INVENTED the car AND the assembly line….and it is consistently outdone by people who came AFTER but have higher quality)

4. Mcdonalds (yes food is “bad quality”…but they are not in the food business. they are in the real estate business primarily, they also made their food as addicting as it could possibly be, NOT tasty, or different…its common as hell, but the quality of their scientists, real estate people and marketing wins out. There is a Mcdonalds on Wall street, Near Madison Square garden, in every wall mart, people go there because its fast, accessible and addicting….these qualities are HIGH.)
5. Warren Buffet, look at how he invests vs. how the idiots in the mutual fund market invest. His job is research. He doesnt just look up the stock quote of a stock before he buys it. He gets to know the industry, the company, the competitors and the people running his target companies better than the champions of those industries THEMSELVES know those things, He PERSONALLY gets to know ALL of the big players in the companies he researches, he only buys quality. And once he has bought he NEVER sells.

6. america, we were the first nation on the planet to even TRY to come up with a QUALITY system of government that highlighted excellence of life and quality of life for its subjects (seriously, i bet you could count on one hand the number of monarchs that gave two shits about their people in europe before us). and look at us now! In two hundred years more has changed for the positive because of our original innovation in government than in the last 2000 years before that. (arguably though as far as quality and equality is concerned we have been surpassed in many ways now though by other countries)

another thing you didnt mention though that most people dont get besides the fact that quality and good service beat out greed and selfishness in the long run any day. Thats Humility. So many people are ready to believe not only that they know everything, but that even if they dont they are not willing to LEARN from those that came before. I know sooo many people that reject the idea of getting into pick up, for example, because they say there are so many lame ideas that are obviously stupid in it (and lets be honest, there kinda are. NLP?…come ON! could you be more nerdy?) But when computers started they were the size of rooms and used punch cards! tell me THATS not lame…and try going one day without using a computer now, similarly, 100 years ago people LEECHED people with sicknesses trying to get “bad blood” out, basically just killing them faster. People had to humble themselves and learn the existing ideas in order to figure out what was wrong with them and change things for the better, discarding old useless things for better, and that is true of every single frontier humanity has ever embarked on. It doesnt matter if you realize that excellence is better if you are not willing to cow your pride and look for opportunities for it wherever you can. there are a lot more factors into achieving personal success too but i dont want my reply to become longer than tynans post!!

Sometimes I forget to do things in an excellent way. This is a great reminder.
