here’s a tip: roll up your rain jacket and shove it into the backpack compartment for your rain cover. Both will fit, and this way you don’t need to open up your pack in the rain to pull it out and get all your stuff out. Also, do you really use the rain pants enough to justify carrying them along?

Soaking the VFF overnight with a mixture of water and white vinegar will fix the smell for a while (they’ll smell like vinegar, but it probably won’t be as bad as the feet smell).

Oh, and there’s a company called Skona that is going into business producing things like vibrams. Hopefully they’ll be able to produce things that tend less towards smelliness.
