Happy Saturday, everyone. I’ve got a million important yet totally boring things I have to do today, so I’m going to skip writing a long article. However, I have a few that I’ve been working on for next week that should be pretty good.

Right now I kinda write the blog on blind faith. I don’t really know exactly what people expect from the site – I just try to balance between useful advice, funny stories, and a bit of what’s going on in my life at the moment. My goal is for this to be the site you check every day, having no idea what you might be reading about next, but knowing that it will be interesting. But I’m curious – is there anything you’d like to see different around here? Is there a topic you wish I’d write about? Do you want more of any one type of post? Less? Is there anything about the site that’s really annoying (yeah, yeah… I put at Home button at the top)? If you have any suggestions, I’d really love to hear them either in the comments here or by e-mail.

The blog is becoming more and more successful in terms of traffic. I average about 3000 visitors per day if you include the huge spikes from the more popular stories. It seems like we have a good portion of the people who comment on the blog, which is what I personally think makes it really interesting. I’m really grateful for every person who reads and/or replies in the comments here. I read every comment, and I’m flattered that people take the time to post them.

I have a lot of really cool plans for this site to make it more unique and to get readers more involved, but I’m waiting to hit a certain level of traffic before implementing them. Thanks again for reading, and stay tuned for some cool articles this week…

Hey Ty,

I’d like to know more about your daily life, what does one of your awesome days look like?

I’d also like to know what techniques you use to keep all your projects in check, if that’s necessary for you.

The last thing I’d like to know is what your sources for inspiration are, like your blog is to me. What books/blogs do you read?

Thanks for sharing and have an awesome day.

I would love to hear more pickup and gambling stories.

For those have been the most intresting ones so far imo.

Hey Tynan,

I’ve been reading your weblog since I’ve stumbled upon it through (I believe) Steve Pavlina’s website researching Polyphasic spleeping…
I’d like to read more about your polyphasic related experiences, but keep on posting, I like your stories!
Perhaps it would be nice to see an update a bit more often, but maybe I’m too demanding ;-)

Keep up the good work,

I too found betterthanyourboyfriend through polyphasic sleep, but I guess there’s not all that much to say about it after you get adjusted. It is certainly interesting to read the oldest posts in the archive, where you’d post “This is great” and “This is hell” alternating several times a day. :)

As for what I’d like to see, the most interesting stuff to me is anything related to self-improvement. I just think it’s an interesting topic. Things like your ‘working out’ post, anything relating to polynapping, all the raw food stuff, social climbing; I love all that. I think it’s amazing what you can accomplish if you set your mind to it. I also like to see the little day-to-day stories mixed in with your informative posts; the things like the chain/lock bling and the class at UT.

Updating a little more often than once a day is about right. More updates are nice I guess, but I’d rather see something new consistently every day.

My gosh!! Did I hear that right, people want to hear from you twice a day, instead of just once!? :) Yes, I admit — that I too check the site daily, sometimes twice to see if there are updates..although I think once a day allows us to have something to look forward to read about tomorrow while at the same time leaving us wanting more. Subjects that I enjoy; I especially like the self-improvement articles, diet/excercise, and anything inspiring/motivating. I think it would be interesting to hear occasionally what you ate during the day.. But really, whatever you’ve been doing is great — I would continue reading if you left everything as is.

They said it all but… I would like to hear the pickup stories, and I mean sets, LRs let us hear the real sucess of a pickup.

I just found this today and I agree with the previous comments about the content. Motivation for life style change is what interests me most but everything I have read so far has been interesting. Please don’t sell my e-mail address.

Its very interesting hearing your take on the venetian arts and how to improve your life in general.
Its interesting to see someone who is self-aware and in tune.
I think you are ahead of your time.
I just got back from a Dallas Lair meeting where we had Captain Jack, Gabriel (from Austin Society) and Linda Burt (trainer with Tad James). Really great stuff.
Someone mentioned that I should get on here and look for one of your friends who has some cool stuff to say. And so I am here.
Your site is called “Better Than your Boyfriend”. Which implies that you’re more of a man than “her boyfriend”.
You told me once that you were given permission to teach a certain method and that the person in question was cool about that.
Well dude, with this much support, get off your ass and do it.
There’s gonna be a movie coming out and you might even be interviewed and played by some famous actor who is much taller and less smooth than the real guy.
Now is the time.

I’m interested in hearing about your business plans and initial strategy for subsisting in your post-gambling era.

Mar 20th, 2006 @ 4:28 am

Hey guys, thanks a ton for the feedback – it’s really helpful to me.

The most interesting thing to learn is that the articles that got me the most publicity aren’t the most enjoyed.

Also, it makes me glad to hear that people want to hear about my everyday life. I was making an effort to keep that out of the blog because so many blogs are about people’s everyday lives, and there are very few of those that I enjoy,

The Reel Deal – I’ll get into that as I go. I have some really exciting things coming up, but a lot of it has to be kept under wraps. Suffice to say that it should be MUCH bigger than gambling, and probably a lot more interesting too. Also, I will be selling the e-mail addresses of everyone who posts comments. :P

Why don’t you set up an online application form for girls to go on a date with you like Tucker Max has.

How do you afford to just do awesome stuff all day (or most of the day)? I guess this is a “how do you make money?” question, but I’m sure the complete answer would include more than just your financial situation…I’ve been reading your site faithfully for over a year, and I’ve been wondering that the whole time.
